The Committee for Spatial information's subcommittee on Standards developed SASDI terminologies. The terminologies are aligned with the Spatial Data Infrastructure Act (Act No 54 of 2003), SDI Act Regulations, Base Data Set Custodianship Policy, Policy on Pricing of Spatial Information Products and Services and other related Act's, policies and standards.
The terminologies will be updated every six months as they change often. The GI community is encouraged to submit additional terms for inclusion.
